this one shows the complete atomizer with end cut off.. ignore the damage that happened while the end was being cut off..

in the center is a white ceramic pot.. in the pot sits the heater coil.. a small wick piece with hot heater wire wrapped around it.. around the pot is absorbent wire wool.. this wire wool holds the e liquid.. the bridge touches the cart wool and this keeps the wire wool wet.. the liquid passes into the pot thru little holes in the side..








this one is the heater coil and wick in close up.. the bridge has been removed.. this atomizer has had around one week of heavy use.. lets say it has vapourized 20 or so ml of liquid.. take note of the holes in the side of the pot.. air is drawn thru the wire wool and in thru these holes.. it mixes with the created vapour on its way and on out to the mouth..

this one still works.. or at least it did.. the atomizer is a 901 RN type..

Good job! Those pics sure make the limited life span of atomizers easy to understand. Might be interesting to see if any of the commonly used cleaning methods actually dissolve the gunky residue (white vinegar, 97% alcohol, boiling etc.). I suspect not...

Great pics.

This is becoming crystal clear now.

I was still using all my original atomisers from Oct and also the batteries I got on the 8th with the screwdriver.

Lots of parts beginning to fade now.

Time to have a serious sort out and start binning the sick ones.
